SFA Quarterly Chapter Meeting
CHAPTER XXX, SFA'S NEXT QUARTERLY MEETING IS
SATURDAY, 24TH JAN 2009.
The meeting will be held at another NEW
LOCATION = SOUTHEAST LA WAR VETERANS HOME,
4080 West Airline Hwy, Reserve, LA 70084.
Please arrive by 1100 hrs as lunch will be at 1130 hrs. in the cafeteria
area. The meal will offer a choice of either Seasoned Chicken Breast or
Lasagna, potatoes Anna, vegetable medley, rolls and peach cobbler, ice
tea and ice water. Coffee will be available in the meeting area and the
dining room.
We will be in WING #3 = as you turn off of LA Hwy 61 at the Brick Sign,
look to your left at the
home then take the first Right Turn and drive around to the rear of that
Section - Wing #3. We
will have a Sign "CHP XXX ENTER HERE".
We have invited the VETERANS residing at the Home to attend our meeting
and several indicated
they will do so. Three VETs will give a brief talk on their military
experiences and time of service.

all want to.
DIRECTIONS: From New Orleans...take I-10 to
LA Hwy 51, turn Left toward LaPlace
and when you reach US Hwy 61 (Airline Hwy) Turn Right. The Home is about
5 & 1/2
miles on the Right Side of Hwy 61.
From Baton Rouge...you can drive down US Hwy
61 or take I-10 to Exit 187 Gramercy to
US Hwy 61 - then it's about 15 miles...as you get close, on the left
there is an olf USAF
Fighter Aircraft - Airport Road - the Home is about 1/2 mile on the
left.

( any money left after paying for the meals will be donated to the War
Vets Home)
