SFA Quarterly Chapter Meeting
CHAPTER XXX, SFA'S NEXT QUARTERLY MEETING IS
SATURDAY, JULY 26TH 2008.
The meeting will be held from 1100hrs-1500hrs
[11:00AM to 3:00PM] AT CRIS MANDRY'S BOATHOUSE 328 South Roadway St. New
Orleans, LA 70124
It's located in West End Park on the North Side of Orleans Marina...(this
is on the South Shore of Lake Pontchartrain.
GUEST SPEAKERS:
1) LTC CRIS MANDRY will discuss many pictures
taken during his recent deployment to Afghanistan. I've seen this and it
is really great...you don't want to miss it.
2) An FBI Agent will present a briefing on their operations. Initially the
former SAC Mr. Jim Bernazzani was going to be the speaker, we haven't yet
received a name for their speaker.
DIRECTIONS:
Driving in on I-10, when you approach the junction of I-10 & I-610 take
the EXIT 1A. WEST END BLVD / CANAL BLVD toward CITY PARK / DELGADO
UNIVERSITY. When you get off the I-10 "Loop" you'll be on WEST END BLVD
heading North towards Lake Pontchartrain, in 1.5 miles (get in the left
lane) it becomes LAKESHORE DRIVE, TURN LEFT onto LAKE MARINA AVE. for 0.2
mile, it becomes WEST ROADWAY STREET and in 0.1 mile TURN RIGHT onto SOUTH
ROADWAY STREET. The boathouse is on your RIGHT, SLIP #32 (with a large
Tree in front).
The meal will be the same as previously; Sausage Appetizer, Chicken,
Potato Salad, Bake Beans and Garlic Bread (man I can smell it already !).
COST $20.00 /per person.
